Commissions & Branding
I offer two main types of illustrated commissions. First, I offer work done in a comic book style, which is a combination between realism and cartoons. Second, I offer work done in a realistic style like portraits and painted illustrations.
For branding I offer anything from logos and business cards to avatars and Twitch streaming kits. I will work with you to create the vision you see and help you fulfill your needs for your social media accounts, banners, and can even offer digital ad designs.
Commission Policies
The most important part of creating commissions is communication! I want to provide you with the best service possible and build trust with every client I work with. I look forward to working with you!
The process for my commissions is as follows, unless discussed otherwise in writing:
A 30-50% initial deposit is required to “lock in” a commission in my schedule. Once the work is started, this deposit is non-refundable, unless I am at fault. The exact percent is determined per project.
Stage One – Roughs
I will submit 2-5 loosely drawn concept sketches. You can pick what you like and dislike about each one if there isn’t a favorite design.
You will be allowed changes here within reason. If I am asked to redraw everything over and over, and there is no forward progress made, that’s when things are considered unreasonable.
Stage Two – Pencils / Main Drawing
As I work on this stage, the main idea of the piece should already be understood between us, so here you can make minor changes, but not major. Here are some examples of acceptable and unacceptable changes:
Acceptable – change the position of the hand, make the tires larger/smaller, add a tattoo to the figure, shorten/lengthen a garment slightly, add a branch to this tree, etc.
Unacceptable – change the ENTIRE pose of the figure, redraw the car bc you want to see a different type of vehicle, go from male to female, redraw all of the clothes, change the setting, etc.
Stage Three – Inks (when applicable)
My style of art often includes refining my drawings in black ink. At this stage, all changes should be made to the art already, however, I show this stage just in case.
Please be aware that while it is uncommon, if you request any changes in this stage, it may incur costs. That is what makes the pencil stage so important.
Stage Four – Colors/Final Stage
This process varies for traditional art vs digital art. They will each be explained below.
DIGITAL COLORS: At this stage, if you wish to see a variation of a color, like yellow to blue, color changes like this are not a problem!
TRADITIONAL COLORS: Colors for this stage will be discussed before color is applied to the art. Please keep in mind, if you’re asking for my art, you’re trusting me to do the job. Changes at this stage must be discussed, and may incur charges.
Delivery of Art
U.S. – Shipping for art is tricky. Typically, shipping is around $15 and will include tracking information and insurance. Signatures are required for certain pieces.
International – I only ship art internationally if it is insured. I’ll always get you an estimate before shipping.
All art will be delivered AFTER final payment is received.

Commissions can be done on a blank sketch cover or at a size of 9x12 or 11x17 inches (add $50 to price).
Additional figures and/or background add between $30-$100.
Color Comic Art
Head $60 | Half Body $100 | Full $200
Comic art can feature known characters or a character of your own creation! I love to see what ideas people come up with, and which fandoms people enjoy most.
Commissions can be done on a blank sketch cover or at a size of 9x12 or 11x17 inches (add $75 to price).
Additional figures and/or background add between $50-$125.
Portrait
Starting Price $300
Portraits are intimate, beautiful moments that are incredibly personal. I do my very best to capture the heart and soul of the subjects I draw. I can offer you the classic option of black and white or the elegant option of color, whichever brings your vision to life.
Materials offered are graphite, inkwash, or watercolor.
Sizes start as small as 8x10 inches.
Illustration
Starting Price $400
Illustrations cover a variety of subject matters from couples in a fantasy scene to landscapes. An illustration will involve more advanced techniques and greater details. It can combine aspects of comic art, or move more toward realism. Our only limit is imagination!
Materials offered are inkwash, watercolor, and mixed media.
Sizes start at 14x11 inches.
